The Hole Proudly Sponsored by American Remembrance

Remember Heroes Delivers a Hole in One

RH HQ Press Release (Sept. 17, 2013) – On par with the company’s mission of giving to the DFW community, Remember Heroes, an organization that honors veteran’s graves with fresh flowers, sponsored a golf tournament put on by the Tarrant County Republicans last Friday in Arlington, TX.  In addition to sponsoring the 13th green, the startup social venture also donated a red, white and blue wreath for the silent auction.

The winner of the wreath, a local Tarrant county judge, has a close family member laid to rest in the DFW National Cemetery. Instead of decorating her family member’s grave, she chose to have the wreath placed on a random veteran saying, “Someone else is more deserving to be honored.” Remember Heroes chose Henry G. Merritt, an army corporal that fought in WWII. “Honoring veterans is the cornerstone of our organization and something we strive to do on a daily basis,” said CEO Flint Holbrook.

Remember Heroes, a new start up and client of TECH Fort Worth currently operates in 10 National Cemeteries across the country accepting orders on its website RememberHeroes.org or by phone at 1-877-976-4450.  Prices start at $150 to honor a veteran, 25% of which is donated to military service organizations.

Remember Heroes is able to initially serve the families and friends of more than 1.7 million deceased veterans in National Cemeteries located in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Riverside, CA; Honolulu, HI; Denver, CO; Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN; St. Louis, MO; Long Island, NY; Arlington, VA/Washington, D.C.; Bushnell, FL and San Antonio, TX.
